Natural and organic product for agriculture
What is wood vinegar?
Wood vinegar is a natural by-product from charcoal production. Wood is greatly heated in close
vessels, an acid liquor is produced through its gaseous products by destructive distillation.
The acid liquor is the wood vinegar (also known as pyroligneous acid). The purified wood vinegar is all-natural
replacement for traditional chemical fertilizer and pesticides.
Wood vinegar promotes growth of
plants, improve soil quality and eliminates pests.
How the wood vinegar is produced?
Wood vinegar is produced through pyrolysis process. When the base feedstocks (timber) is fed into a traditional kiln (slow pyrolysis method) in the absence of oxygen, chemical and physical separation of molecules took place. The chemical bonds of base material is then disintegrated with the thermal heat.
The feedstock, temperature and period of pyrolysis effects the composition of gases produced. By obtaining high and consistence grade of wood vinegar, the controllability and precision of the thermal conversion unit is monitored.
What is mangrove wood vinegar?
Mangrove wood vinegar is produced using traditional method of slow pyrolysis throughout charcoal production. The harvest of mangrove woods is in a sustainable way to ensure a good healthy ecosystem.
The high quality mangrove wood vinegar will be collected when the temperature of vapor reaches 82 degree.
A standardized and highest grade of wood vinegar is produced , as tar content of the wood vinegar collected is negligible.
What is the benefits of wood vinegar
- Spraying diluted wood vinegar on plant leaves increases their vitality and improves crop quality.
- Spraying helps control harmful insects and some kinds of plant diseases.
- Wood vinegar and agricultural chemicals are complementary. The efficacy of using them together is greater than using either one alone.
- In high concentrations, it inhibits eelworms and soil diseases when applied to the soil or mixed into it. In low concentrations, it increases the quantity of useful microbes.
- Wood vinegar helps plants develop stronger roots.
- Mixing wood vinegar with manure reduces odors and facilitates composting.
